In the sculptor's words... This sculpture was done before the
“3
Way Female.” Aesthetically it can be
displayed sitting, on his back or on his side in rest.
For me, the position have more emotional impact than the “3 Way
Female” nude while I feel that she is aesthetically more successful. I found both of these little studies to be
extremely interesting challenges.
