Taking Control

This exquisitely balanced sculpture is about our relationship with our own fear. Here, the man’s fear is symbolized by a ferocious shark. But instead of letting his fear devour him, he has it by the tail and is throwing it to the floor. Fear can cripple us into inaction. Better to take control and throw our fears away.
