| In the sculptor's words... Ive tried to imbue this
sculpture with a quiet and gentle eroticism. A
young couple spoons together in the cool and starry darkness of an August night. Each watches a different part of the sky hoping to
catch that fleeting instant when a meteor ignites and shoots across the blackness.
Every year I eagerly await
those few nights in August when the Perseids meteor shower passes overhead. Having someone to share the moment with makes the
experience that much more meaningful.
