In the sculptor's words... My emphasis in this sculpture is in
the interaction of the negative spaces between the arms and the way that they change in
relation to each other as the sculpture is rotated. This
figure is strong. There is tension here and
the power is barely contained. His arms have
almost no anatomical basis and appear to be almost fluid.
They might change from and strike out at any moment. I feel a violence here, barely under control.
