In the sculptor's words... "Lovers" is unique in both its physical
execution and its emotional content. As the artist, I was concerned with portraying the
essence of a loving relationship. This is obviously something more than a simple embrace.
The sculpture consists of two interlocking figures. Each is incomplete without the other
and neither figure stands alone. Assembled they form a solid bond each supporting the
other.
