In the sculptor's words...The "Grape
Satyr" gets into the feeling of frenzy. The parts are mixed up. He is split on a
diagonal as opposed to being split at the waist. He's got a human leg and a human arm and
an animal arm and a goat leg all kind of whirling and twirling together. It s done in a
way that is subtle enough that most people aren't even aware of the split. The movement is
dynamic and the piece works well all around.
