Flute Satyr |

|
In the sculptor's words... The satyr is a personal symbol of
creativity. This satyr is a version given to quiet but irresistible music and gentle
seduction. Like many of my other satyrs he sports horse hooves rather then traditional
goat hooves. The equine hooves are a reference back to my monumental work
"Adrastea" which was nicknamed "the horse" by fellow students. I also
like the visual weight that is added by the horse hoof as opposed to the goat hoof.
